Enviro 911: Recycling to the Rescue!

 

Help us get to 2 million in 2008!

In an effort to reduce to the amount of pots and other plastic that reaches the landfill, the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association, along with MNLA members, initiated an extensive recycling program. MNLA member businesses recycled an astounding 1.8 million pounds of horticultural plastic in 2007. Pots of all colors, hanging baskets, greenhouse poly and irrigation pipe can all be recycled. Viola Nursery and Greenhouse will collect the materials and bring them to 7 different sites around the state, to be ground for reuse.
